Previously, when searching in map view, typing a phrase and clicking
Search
would direct you to the most popular place with that name. This was limiting, especially when multiple locations shared the same name within a country. Now, as you start typing, up to 5 location suggestions appear. Selecting one will take you directly to your chosen location.To use this feature, ensure a second Google Maps API key is entered and the Places API (New) is enabled in the Google Maps Platform.
